The Free University of Bozen-Bolzano is located in one of the most fascinating European regions, at the crossroads between the German-speaking and Italian economies and cultures. Its strong international outlook is testified by its multilingual courses (German, Italian, English and Ladin) and the high number of students and teaching staff from abroad. 4,100 students are registered to more than 30 undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. The university has five faculties: Economics, Natural Sciences, Engineering, Social Sciences, Education and Design. The Faculty of Education in Bressanone-Brixen, which participates in this project, is one of the three UNIBZ campuses. It was founded in 1997 with the task of training preschool and primary school teachers of the three language groups of the Province of Bolzano - Italian, German and Ladin.
